Athlete Highlights
Chris Kolb, Mankato West High School - 2008 9th grade pole vault record: 14-3"
Rachael Click, Gustavus Adolphus College - Named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All American softball first team. Click, a shortstop, started all 38 games this season for GAC and ended the season with an impressive .563 batting average. Click trained at the SI over the winter.
Jason Hankins - Committed to play for the Gustavus Adophus College football team. Jason worked out at the Sports Institute this past fall. Jason made the All Star Team and was an All State player.
Jimmy Loonan - Loonan has been a varsity starter for three years on a 4A (soph and junior years) and this past fall a 3A (senior). He was all conference all three years and named to the Minnesota All State honorable mention team twice; both as a junior and recently as a senior both as a running back and a linebacker. He has been nominated for the Minnesota State all academic team and was nominated by the south central coaches to participate in the Minnesota all star game. He ranks in the top five all time runs from scrimmage with a 98 yards touch down run against Windom, MN.(see first video clip) His accumulative GPA is currently at a 3.07 and he scored a 23 on his ACT test. Jimmy is a hard worker and very coach-able and enjoys playing football. As a Senior RB/LB Loonan is the Waseca Blue Jays All-Time leading rusher with 2,972 yards, single game rushing leader with 267 yards, single season TD leader with 21, and single game TD leader with 5. Loonan is also one of the rare two way All-State players in Minnesota boasting All-State honors as both a RB and LB. Take a close look at his record setting Senior season!!
Jimmy is currently working out at the Sports Institute to prepare for this fall at St Johns.

Ethan Preisler - Ethan was a varsity football starter for four years at Le Center High School. Durring that time he led the team in receiving with 19 catches for 256 yards, and in sacks with 9.5. He was named All-conference three years, achieved All-state honorable mention, and was named to the class 1A Academic All-Star Team. He also played in the 2008 Minnesota All-Star Game on the Out-State team. Ethan is committed to play college football at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. Preisler worked out at the Sports Institute in the summer of 2007.
