Golf Performance Training


  



Golf is a sport that consists of balance, core strength, proper flexibility and the utilization of all aspects to hit a golf ball farther and straighter.  Golf specific training at the Sports Institute will focus on each of these variables to maximize the athlete’s potential on the greens.  By incorporating integrated stabilization and strength equivalent exercises in our training programs, we are able to assess, teach, and perform these exercise protocols to develop a well rounded player.  By increasing the lower body and core areas along with explosive strength training the athlete has the ability to hit the ball farther and more accurate.
   Each athlete will also be assessed and monitored in corrective exercise training to prevent injury.  

Golf athletes at The Sports Institute will perform Olympic strength training to develop power and strength, rotary exercise for core development, flexibility exercises and golf specific drills.
